This film is the story of Enrico di Piazza, a Latin lover retired from his sexual adventures due to his new beliefs: in his day he was considered one of the greatest lovers in the world, but after traveling the world he would reach the conclusion that chastity is a virtue that leads to spiritual growth. Convinced of his new beliefs, he tries to create a new order and for this purpose unites some friends in a Mediterranean villa to tell them about his new ideas and to call forth an anti-sexual spirit on the night of San Lorenzo - The night of shooting stars. Things do not turn out quite as he expected.
