Canes hang at the ready in the bedroom that Claire and Emma share. Both have been caught stealing at the music store. When Claire explains that they had no money the Headmaster insists that that is not an excuse for stealing. The two partially clad girls must both lean over their beds, bottoms up and ready for punishment. The Headmaster administers the cane while they plead that they are sorry but it is too late. When they say they have learned their lesson, Headmaster Tom orders both back into their penitent corners of the room for reflection.
