In 1944 Falangist Spain, a girl, fascinated with fairy-tales, is sent along with her pregnant mother to live with her new stepfather, a ruthless captain of the Spanish army. During the night, she meets a fairy who takes her to an old faun in the center of the labyrinth. He tells her she's a princess, but must prove her royalty by surviving three gruesome tasks. Disc was fully supported by latest eac3to for creating the .h265 stream!
Audio from Criterion Collection DTS-HD Master Audio / 7.1 / 48 kHz / 5169 kbps / 24-bit,
as UHD got DTS-HD Master Audio / 5.1 / 48 kHz / 3505 kbps / 24-bit!
Did new chapters from Criterion Collection (27 - named) and set properly on matching
iframes, since UHD had 22 unamed!
Additional subs from various discs - NOR and Russian subs courtesy of CtrlHD (Thanks!),
as I couldn't find those 2 discs - all tonemapped to 67% white to match those from the
UHD disc!
Set the English subs from UHD to "e;default"e; as they look better/shaper, than those from
Criterion Collection BD (but those are approved by del Toro - so your choice)!
