Gala March 1952
This document consists of 35 pages detailing the contents and description of vintage magazines that feature "cheesecake" photography, which, while not considered pornographic by today's standards, was considered risqué at the time. Many of the models featured may also appear nude in other publications.
The document provides sample images that can be enlarged for viewing. It emphasizes that popular magazines often contain numerous articles alongside a limited number of photographs. It is noted that some older British magazines may lack a table of contents or publication dates. The magazines were scanned using a large format scanner with an effort to balance quality and file size. For later issues, particularly from the 1980s onward, pages that are entirely advertisements may be omitted, as they can constitute a significant portion of the content. The scanning process, which includes correction, cropping, and conversion, takes about an hour per magazine, limiting the time available for detailed touch-ups. To protect against unauthorized sales of the scans, watermarks have been added. All models featured in the magazines are stated to be at least 18 years old at the time of publication. Users are permitted to edit the files as they wish.
