The scanned magazines often contain numerous articles alongside a limited number of photographs. It is important to note that many popular magazines may feature a significant amount of text compared to images.

The scans were performed using a cost-effective large format scanner with the aim of balancing quality and file size. In later issues, particularly from the 1980s onward, pages consisting entirely of advertisements are frequently omitted, as they can constitute a substantial portion of the magazine's content.

Each magazine takes approximately one hour to scan, correct, crop, and convert, limiting the time available for extensive editing. Watermarks have been added to the scans to deter unauthorized sales, and all models featured in the magazines are stated to be at least 18 years of age at the time of publication.
