A scan of a magazine titled "Skullhead" focuses on images of women posing, particularly with an emphasis on mature subjects.
The magazine contains a mix of articles and photographs, with many popular magazines featuring a limited number of images relative to their written content. The scans were performed using a budget-friendly large format scanner, aiming for a balance between quality and file size.
In later issues, particularly those from the 1980s onward, pages that are entirely advertisements have been excluded to reduce file size, as these can comprise a significant portion of the magazine's content. While the scans may not be perfect, they are available for editing. Each magazine takes about an hour to scan, correct, crop, and convert, limiting the potential for extensive touch-ups.
To prevent unauthorized sales of the scans, watermarks have been added. All models featured in the magazines are stated to be at least 18 years old at the time of publication.
