The driver then pulls over and reveals a gold pocket watch, leading the woman to panic and express her fear of being hypnotized. Despite her objections, she begins to fall under his control, becoming compliant to his commands. The driver instructs her to refer to him as "master" and to chant various phrases during their interaction. He manipulates her state of consciousness, altering her personality and attitude towards him by the end of their encounter.
