| With the help of brilliant band members and guests such |
| as Hugh Coltman and Yael Naim, Eric Legnini immerses the |
| audience of the Jazz a la Villette Festival in his own |
| brand of music, driven by pop, folk, traditional and |
| ultra modern jazz influences. This Belgian pianist, born |
| of Italian parents, built his unique style along the |
| course of an impressive career full of encouters with |
| the greatest names in contemporary jazz. Here, in 2013, |
| he displays his inimitable works alongside Thomas |
| Bramerie on double bass, Franck Agulhon on drums, and a |
| plethora of other talents. |

| His first successes came in the 90s, after he founded a |
| group with famed saxophonist Stefano Di Battista. The |
| two partners in crime are quickly joined by Aldo Romano. |
| Then, in 2013, he collaborates with Hugh Coltman on his |
| Sing Twice! album, which was hailed by both critics and |
| audiences alike. Eric Legnini brings a breath of fresh |
| air to the contemporary jazz scene, it blows over the |
| stage during the full length of this must-watch concert. |
