NOTES:
Video & audio from the UHD BD, chapters & English subs from the 1080p BD, plus plenty of SRT subs from streaming services.
MakeMKV (1.17.6) was used to demux video, in order to merge the DV MEL metadata with the HDR10 base layer and obtain a single layer file (as opposed to the double layer one on the UHD disc).
There's little difference (all negligible) between UHD vs. 1080p BDs audio tracks, only the back channels are ~3dB louder on the UHD disc.
Chapters were taken from the 1080p BD (since they were 17 compared to Arrow's 12).
These were adjusted to fall on scene changing I-frames.
Most SRT subs are from iTunes, apart from Romanian, Croatian, Icelandic and Serbian which are from 1080p BDs (OCR'd by me), respectively Catalan Spanish and Macedonian which are from MAX.
As always, a big thanks to vevv for helping out with streaming subs.
English SDH were taken from the 1080p BD because they had italics and a nicer font. I've OCR'd them, removed annoying SDH parts and revised them.
Romanian subs have been revised as well.
I've corrected a bunch of shit (italics, dialogues, etc.) on some of the streaming subs as well, I won't go through all the details.
Italian, German and Catalan Spanish were only SDH and I took the time to manually remove SDH parts.
While Bulgarian and Russian SRT subs from iTunes had identical translation as on the BD, some of the characters were different. I have no fucking idea of Cyrillic dialects and I can't tell if they were improperly OCR'd... so I left both SRT & PGS subs for them.
Also, Japanese has some special characters (even vertical alignment sometimes) that are lost when being formatted to SRT, so again I left both SRT & PGS subs for it.
All PGS subs have been tonemapped to 48% white.
I've checked the rest of the PGS subs against the SRT ones and they are identical, so decided to only keep SRT subs.
No more wasted space for something that can't be customized whatsoever during playback.
All subs have their own source tags so that there's no confusion where each is sourced from.
