Body of Review: Jonni Darkko might best be known to some of you as the talented DJ working clubs in his spare time but I'm primarily acquainted with his directing jobs distributed by Evil Angel. Unlike some of his peers at the company, Jonni tries a lot of new things instead of relying on the same tricks all the time. As a result, this means that his work isn't always consistently good (or bad) though his taste in musical interludes for his work typically gives me a headache. In any case, his latest title is G For Gianna, a tribute to the busty babe gracing the front cover that has really skyrocketed in popularity in the past year. If you like gals with womanly curves (front and back), she's an adorable alternative to the boyish waifs so many in the industry seem to prefer these days as being the "e;be all, end all"e;, body type. Truth be told, Gianna's work is typically across the board great so short of her trying to act like she's an alt porn legend, I had no worries about the overall quality of her work here. Did Jonni live up to his end of the bargain as director or did he drop the ball and screw up one of the hottest gals in the business these days becomes the question of the review. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used and that Gianna was in every scene:

Scene One: Solo Masturbation: Gianna, the curvy babe on the front cover and focus of the entire movie, was up first in what amounted to a warming up scene where she masturbated for the camera. Her skimpy fishnet top, black thong, and white fetish attire all enhanced her look to spotlight the reasons why so many fans adore her. I watched it twice, once without the sound on, and that improved it a lot though I have to admit it gave my subwoofer a workout. The camera work was too noticeable and the editing jumpy but I doubt even a trained chimp could've messed it up completely given the appeal of the young lady. It only lasted a short time (the scene closed before the 8 minute mark) but was a nice start.

Scene Two: Shower: Gianna, wearing a very short blue dress in the shower, gyrated and moved about as the water poured over her frame. This was appealing enough when she was joined by Mark Ashley who switched the fluid of choice to milk. I'm not sure what the specific appeal of milk is (it gets used a lot more of late in porn) but she seemed to enjoy it and was soon slobbing his knob as the shower returned to prominence. He stuck his face in her ass crack as the vocals took over (thankfully), and the two started vaginally boning after that. It seemed like it was the longest scene of the bunch though and that alone will appeal to those of you that enjoy lengthy but still high quality scenes. Summary: G For Gianna by director Jonni Darkko for distribution by Evil Angel was the best tribute to lovely Gianna you will find, bar none. She was put through the paces in various settings, allowing each one to work for some sub-group while still offering up a lot of stroke value for the rest of us not into the narrowly defined niches catered to. If you like Gianna as much as I do, you'll already have a copy of the movie but despite some technical limitations mentioned above, this one was well worth a rating of Highly Recommended. In short, G For Gianna was also G for "e;good"e;, and I remember thinking the title was a play on my publisher's nickname as being one of her supporters too. Good work!
