In 2007, a tragic incident occurred in Moscow involving the family of a Siberian magnate. His daughter and a friend were kidnapped during the day and taken to an apartment on the outskirts of the city. There, they were forced to undress in front of a couple associated with the kidnappers, including a professional interrogator from Chechnya. The girls were subjected to severe torture, including whipping, in an attempt to coerce them into calling their father and requesting ransom money for their release. The brutality of the acts resulted in significant physical harm.
