* Preferred restored FRA UHD audio as it had more detail than the previous master (BFI Blu-ray/Criterion DVD), being sourced from a higher quality transfer, despite a low frequency cut-off (7 kHz), also with seemingly less noise reduction below that threshold. The old master also had noticeable hum at several frequencies, noticeable in quieter scenes even after attenuating (thanks again vevv for the help in audio comparisons). samples.
* FRA and GBR are two different transfers. The frame mismatches have been thoroughly tracked and located in vspreview (there were 45 of them). This information was used in a script based on subby (thanks again vevv) to perform a perfectly frame-accurate resync of the English PGS subtitles from GBR, as well as the OCR'ed English VobSub from DVD and Spanish subtitles from Filmin.
