Brit Cops Down Under is a documentary following a group of seven UK police officers as they make the momentous decision to uproot their lives and move to the other side of the world to become Western Australian Cops.Western Australia is the largest, most remote and sparsely populated police district in the world. On arrival, the new recruits undergo three months of training, including taser and firearms, and they must pass all units before starting a three-month probation period on the beat. But it's not just the work that's tough. They are starting their lives all over again, some with young children and partners, leaving family and friends behind.
Episode Summary: UK recruits Maggie Hamilton and Darren Royle are starting to feel like West Aussie cops as they settle in at Perth's central station. Anna is struggling with her work life balance and after talking to her shift partner Sam Outram, hopes to be able to work part time. The Royles go on a camping trip, their first ever Australian holiday, but it doesn't turn out quite as planned. Maggie's dog Ruby finally arrives from Scotland after her long journey and time in quarantine. Michael is still working in the remote town of Halls Creek and gets a very unusual reptilian call out.
