Description
The story follows Rockey Laguna, a man determined to reclaim his heavyweight championship title after losing it to Drax Spago. After the loss, Rockey finds himself in a hospital, devastated by the news of his wife's death, which occurred while she was on her way to support him. Meanwhile, Drax Spago, the new champion, indulges in drug abuse and neglects his own wife.

Rockey, with the help of a compassionate nurse, begins to train intensely to overcome his emotional turmoil. In contrast, Drax's addiction to steroids and crack leads to his wife's departure, a reality he remains oblivious to as he continues to spiral into a world dominated by drugs.
