Description: The film begins with Helene Shirley having breakfast with her husband, Jacky Arnal, while their butler, Jean-Pierre Armand, serves them. During breakfast, Jean-Pierre secretly observes them engaging in sexual activity before Jacky leaves for work. Following this, Helene bathes and dresses, requesting Jean-Pierre to assist with her bra. This interaction escalates into an assault by Jean-Pierre. Later, Jacky returns home and discovers the situation but chooses not to confront it. Subsequently, an argument ensues between Jacky and Helene, where she insists that the butler should leave. Despite this, Jacky instructs Jean-Pierre to stay, leading to Helene leaving instead. Jacky later invites Cathy Menard over, and they watch the film "Une Femme Honnete" on television, which indicates the film's timeline is set no earlier than 1981.
