Plot Summary: The film follows Barbara Scott, who faces disappointment when her husband, Christopher, leaves her, believing he has abandoned her for his secretary. Alone with their son, Paul, and struggling financially, she is set up by her friend Gina on a blind date with a swinger. Barbara also secures a job with real-estate broker Jerry Morgan, thanks to Gina's recommendation. Meanwhile, Paul is involved with his girlfriend, Sherrie, and exhibits Oedipal tendencies. After attending an orgy but not participating, Barbara returns home aroused and seduces her son, leading to feelings of guilt the next morning. Despite her complicated feelings, she continues to date her boss, Jerry, while maintaining a sexual relationship with Paul.
