Seriously, this movie was made at the very beginning of the Golden Age of Porn, before even Deep Throat, which was the first porn move to capture mainstream attention. In 1971, the porno industry was struggling to survive, with theatres being shut down all the time for showing films such as this. The documentary style, (including hiring a psychiatrist as a consultant) was probably an attempt to meet the newly established legal parameter for porn, that it must have some kind of "e;social redeeming value"e;. Since no bright line had been established for that term, with it being interpreted differently from city to city, the inclusion of this kind of message allowed the film to be shown in as many venues as possible.
