Susan receives an unexpected visit from a young man named John, who claims to be her deceased husband reincarnated. Initially skeptical, Susan is taken aback by John's knowledge of personal details about her life and their past together. He expresses remorse for his previous struggles with PTSD, which ultimately led to his death, and expresses a desire to remarry her. Conflicted by her emotions and her family's disapproval, particularly from her sibling Evelyn, Susan grapples with the authenticity of John's claims. Despite her family's concerns that he may be deceitful, she decides to reach out to him after their initial encounter. When John returns, Susan shares her feelings of being overwhelmed by the situation and her family's skepticism.
