Welcome to the 2023 World PMV Games, featuring a narrative centered on an unsuspecting individual who encounters a beautiful stranger in his hotel room. This PMV includes familiar elements such as point-of-view shots, sexual acts, and classic rock music, specifically AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Back In Black."The theme for this year's games is "create a narrative," which has inspired a story that embraces a cheesy tone, inviting viewers to enjoy the lightheartedness. The visual effects were achieved by breaking down the video into individual frames and converting them into sketch-like images using a photo editing program. These images were then recompiled into a full video, layered over the original footage, with transitions managed through opacity adjustments. Cartoon-style effects were created by manually applying a cartoon setting to each frame in an app called BeFunky, a process that proved to be tedious and highlighted the challenges of traditional animation at higher frame rates. The finished animated segments were integrated into the video, further enhanced by using Topaz Video AI to produce a 60 fps version. Despite the challenges faced in the creation process, the commitment to producing more content of this nature has been affirmed. Future projects are anticipated.
