Two friends, Rick and Glen, are watching a game on television while reminiscing about their younger days and the simpler times when they could easily connect with attractive women. Their conversation turns to their current lives, feeling tied down by marriage and family responsibilities.

Sally arrives to study with Rick's daughter, and after she leaves, Rick and Glen express their frustration about their situation. Inspired, Rick devises a plan to relive their glory days.

Later, Rick offers to drive Sally home after her study session. Although she hesitates, she ultimately agrees with encouragement from Rick. Rick informs her that Glen will also be joining them, which makes Sally slightly uncomfortable, but she remains too shy to object.
