Erich von Götha - Twenty
Erich von Götha, born in 1924 in London, UK, is the pseudonym of British illustrator and comic book artist Robin Ray, who has also used the names Janssens, Baldur Grimm, and Robbins. He is known for his erotic and sadomasochistic content. In the early 2000s, he held a solo exhibition titled "Sweat Tears Reflections" at the Mondo Bizzarro Gallery in Bologna. Ray studied drawing and painting for four years at an art school and began publishing in the 1980s with the English comic magazine "Torrid." His work in the first 14 issues of "Torrid" was later featured in the French magazines "YES" and "Bédé Adult." He gained recognition for his works "Contes à Rebours" (for "YES") and "Crimes et Délits," which was the last work succeeded by Georges Lévis. Additionally, he has created book illustrations for various publishing companies. His most notable work is "The Troubles of Janice," set in the time of the Marquis de Sade, which was released in four volumes, starting in 1980. Other significant works include "The Education of Sophie," "A Very Special Prison," "The Dream of Cecilia," and "Twenty Twenty 2."
