Erich von Götha, born in 1924 in London, UK, is a pseudonym for the British illustrator and comic book artist Robin Ray. Ray has also used other pseudonyms, including Janssens, Baldur Grimm, and Robbins. He is known for his erotic and sadomasochistic artwork. In the early 2000s, he showcased his work in a solo exhibition called "Sweat Tears Reflections" at the Mondo Bizzarro Gallery in Bologna. Ray studied drawing and painting for four years at an art school and began publishing in the 1980s with the English comic magazine "Torrid." The strips from the first 14 issues of "Torrid" were later featured in French magazines "YES" and "Bédé Adult."Ray gained recognition with works such as "Contes à Rebours" for "YES" and "Crimes et Délits." He also illustrated books for various publishing companies.
