This is the true original version of the movie. From what I know, the director's cut has some additional footage added, or whatever you want to call it. Anyway, let's start talking about the audio present on the UHD. The Atmos is a remix version, and to be frank, it is a terrible remix of the movie and the way it's intended. The surround effects are over-boosted, which you can hear in the intro at the dig site – it's extremely loud. The mono on the UHD underwent heavy noise reduction, The UHD mono had dialogues muffed, Warner Bros. shoved the perfectly original audio to the meat grinder. Luckily, thanks to Anonymous GIGA CHAD, I got my hands on the obscure JPN LD audio, which has the epic LaserDisc Mono. I opted for this instead of the UHD mono (you can find it here: https://slow.pics/c/rVLbf2yw ). I also obtained the 1997 70mm Warner Bros. DVD reissue mix, which is absolutely fantastic. Some of you may prefer this 70mm mix over the Atmos version, and you may also notice that the Atmos remix probably has some missing effects, etc. The 70mm audio was synced using waveform*.wav and then packed to DTS.
The subtitles are tonemapped and synced from the HD-Blu-ray. Additional SRTs from the web were included, but only those that would fit in with the theatrical Remux (thanks to vevv). Chapter names from the NTSC DVD were positioned to the nearest i-frames/scene changes accordingly.
TLDR; Included. the Original mono from LD & the 70mm mix from DVD + some other subs = all good!!
Enjoy
