Psychopath

Young women have been disappearing for months, leading authorities to suspect the presence of a serial killer, referred to in the media as "SK." The victims are often found dressed in revealing clothing. In an attempt to capture the suspect, Detective Hannah Perez goes undercover, with her backup team positioned at a distance to avoid alarming SK. While on the lookout, Hannah notices a suspicious man driving slowly past her location, but he does not stop. Unable to read his license plate, she decides to follow him. As she informs her team of her actions, her cell signal deteriorates. Anticipating that SK may flee, she chooses to approach the suspect’s house alone. Upon entering, Hannah is startled when the suspect appears behind her. A struggle ensues, and she is incapacitated when he presses a cloth over her face. Her consciousness fades, and when she regains awareness, she discovers that she is handcuffed and chained to a chair, unable to escape. The suspect watches her with a sinister smile, and her phone, which is switched off, is out of reach. Despite her precarious situation, Hannah attempts to maintain her composure, warning the suspect of the trouble he is in for abducting a police officer. However, the situation escalates as he approaches her, gags her, and begins to torment her both physically and psychologically. He teases her with food and water but ultimately denies her sustenance. Hannah's training helps her initially, but as the torment continues, her resolve starts to weaken. The suspect announces he needs rest before targeting his next victim and lays her chair on its back, telling her to relax, indicating that his plans for her are not yet complete. Hannah struggles against her restraints, aware of her dire predicament.
