The sequel to the highly acclaimed strategy game X²: The Threat includes a new 3D engine, new story, ships and gameplay elements that will add even more variety to the X universe. The economy in X³: Reunion has become even more complex than in previous parts of the series. Non-player characters independently trade and build factories, wars affect the state of affairs in the economy, and pirates behave much more realistically.
