Biography of Ed Powers
Ed Powers, born Mark Arnold Krinsky on October 25, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, entered the adult entertainment industry in 1978, performing on 42nd Street in New York City. He is primarily recognized for his "Dirty Debutantes" series, which ran from 1989 to 2006 and featured amateur female performers making their adult film debuts. Many well-known actresses, including Nadia Nyce and Katie Morgan, began their careers with him. Powers has garnered a ranking of #26 in AVN's Top 50 Porn Stars of All Time. After releasing volume 369 of "More Dirty Debutantes," he retired in 2006. He is noted for his relatable persona, stating,"I go up and down in weight. I'm not a porn star. I'm the average guy. That's the source of my popularity."
