Following the success of best-selling pack 'Gray Vol. 1' - Aubit is proud to present
volume 2 of Gray, the producer-favourite series.
Artists like Grey have revolutionised dance music, merging the most addictive elements
of pop music with the energy and flavour of EDM. Our vision for 'Grey Vol. 2' is to
offer you access to every single element of sound-design necessary to break into this
new hybrid genre, and start creating some chart-topping, festival-ready sure-fire
hits. We studied their most popular releases and uncovered some of their next-level
production techniques, so that we could recreate their cleverly crafted synth sounds
for everyone to have.
As well as recreating some of the classic Grey sounds, we set out to craft some of our
own sounds that we feel break into new sound-design territory. These 50 Serum presets
and 30 Massive presets provide the perfect foundation for you to explore the next big
thing in EDM. Coupled with the MIDI files in this pack, there are tons of tunes
waiting to be written.
Secondly we recorded 25 acoustic guitar loops. Using real instruments in electronic
music production brings a whole new dynamic that sets you apart from the crowd, and
these loops do that in a fresh, genre-bending way. All loops are key and bpm labelled.
Next up we made 25 Vocal Chop Loops. These sounds are absolutely essential to
providing the hook and adding a further layer of innovation to any production. We
included all 25 loops in wet and dry form - so you can choose to use our release-ready
processing, or start from scratch and make them exactly how you like.
The importance of good-quality and genre-specific drum sounds is often overlooked by
producers. So we're also including 80 Drum Samples. We custom-made: 10 kicks, 10
snares, 30 percs, 15 toms and 15 hi-hats. These drums are a must-have for glueing the
melodic parts of this pack together.
Finally we wrote 25 MIDI loops. Music theory is something that most producers struggle
with; so we put together 25 catchy and emotive chord progressions, melodies and
bass-lines. All MIDI files are key and BPM labelled to maximise your workflow's
efficiency.
To bring all of these individual elements together, we produced 3 full-length tracks
in Grey's new pop/edm hybrid style, just using the sounds from this pack and included
the Ableton project files! So you can see exactly how this style is created from
scratch.
