Remember, DTS and Dolby are lossy formats, but FLAC stops the loss from increasing with any further
re-encodes, and it's better supported by more audio players than straight .DTS or .MKA files.

Ripped first with DVD Decryptor, then
1) Used mkvtoolnix with the included DVD chapter .IFO file in order to
2) Split the VOB file's single long DTS waveform file into separate .MKA container file with no change to files
3) Used ffmpeg to re-encode DTS-encoded .MKA files into FLAC

Upsides of DTS encapsulated in MKA was small file size; about 20% the size of FLAC.
Amazing work by the engineers who were able to get sound this good into ~1.5 Mb/s bitstreams.
But the downside: Plexamp in particular could not play the smaller, DTS-encoded .MKA files with proper channel mapping.

So, the resulting FLAC files you get here are approximately ~7 Mb/s in size. But far better supported with tagging
and applications.
