Abigail and her boyfriend, Malcolm, are enjoying a romantic holiday movie when the topic of visiting her family arises. Malcolm suddenly expresses a desire to stay home for the holidays, leading to tension between them. Abigail is confused and confronts Malcolm about his behavior, noting his tendency to isolate her.
