Apologies for the delays, though I'm glad we're finally at semi-release state.

I'm reasonably happy with how the episode turned out with the characters and story. A few more choices were added. Hope to increase more of these options as we go along.

The core character's relationships are building up (not quite reaching its boiling point just yet) in this episode.

So, the not-so-good news is that the most ed feature - the complete save/load system is still being worked on, along with a few other changes.

These updates are being worked on intensely and will be released over the next few days.

Episode 4 Meta & What's Next: Show

Firstly, thanks a ton for your support - wouldn't be able to do this or what's coming next, without your support.

If you're concerned about the state of the engine, just wanted to let you know that its a priority for now, more than ever.

Now that the episode is out there and people have tried it, I've given it a few plays with fresh eyes as well. Overall, this is a fun little episode with some interesting scenes. (My favorite for now is episode 3 though)

The interactions between the F&D are fun and their relationship continues to grow. Both the PC and his other daughter strongly believe D (sophie) needs to date someone to fill the void she has in her life.

The PC has an opportunity to take his anger out on Alexa... But it feels like she's still in control, somewhat. This needs to change soon.

Turns out the brother is a more proactive/trigger-happy character than the PC. The game ends on another cliffhanger here.

The PC continues with his plan, which might not be a wise one but it's what he thinks is best.

The next few episodes will be more action packed and ramp things up - relationships, the cult, diving towards an inevitable resolution.

What's Next

Though the transition from episode 3 to 4 was a lot better, the story could use some sharpening up. That's being worked on for the next few episodes. A better process for scripting it out (characters/flow/screen transitions) before the render/scene process.

The engine needs updates and all the episodes need to be playable from start to finish. There's quite a bit of work to be done but we'll continue making this better.

I'm also working on a partnership that could make things faster and better. More news on that coming soon.
